NISI F-Stopper PRO ND1000 ( 10 stops )

And as promised in my Facebook Page here is the sharing of the first experiences and results with my last perchasse, the NISI Filter  F-Stopper PRO.

The tests were conducted in Peniche, at the end of an afternoon characterized by a cloudy sky and the influence of diffuse light, which particularly I like to use to make long exposures.

Unlike the usual, I did not captured mages with NISI vs is possible competitors. First, I only have one camera body and secondly because there would always be a difference of environment and light if the images were made sequentially and with varying intervals of time. The characteristics of the main competitors (Lee Big Stopper or Hitech Pro Stop) are already known and my concerns fell only one my investment and what could be is behavior / position in its segment.

So that you can withdraw conclusions and preliminary findings, I share one of the images captured in is "pure" form and open in View NX2 - RAW, Auto WB, ISO 100, Standard Picture Control for D800:

The same image after changing the WB to automatic in View NX2

Keeping unchanged any correction, some detail from zones where competition have some difficulty in being neutral. Remember that beyond the NISI I was using 2 more GND filtres, HE on the horizon and the SE more down to smooth the transition and cut some of the light that fell on the rock.

E vocês o que acham ?

And what do you think ?

I recall that the image does not have any kind of editing / treatment and taking into account the first records obtained with the NISI F-Stopper PRO, I guess he won a place in my filter bag at the expense of the Lee Big Stopper.
